What is recommended usage guideline and timeline for L3TX?

L3TX cap needs to be placed firmly on your head, ensure the battery is sufficiently charged before usage.Usage time – 10 mins for single usage, every day.Device has in-built auto-shut off settings so patient doesn’t need to keep a track of time.
How long one needs to use L3TX?

Minimum time period for usage is minimum 4 to 6 months of use. (Depends upon grade of alopecia in men and women).
After 6 months, device can be continued further as maintenance therapy.
The usage frequency depends upon recommendation of dermatologist/trichologist.
Does one needs to wash hair or use a special shampoo before using L3Tx?

A normal cleansing shampoo can be used to keep your hair and scalp clean before using L3TX device.Patients with seborrheic dermatitis / dandruff / any other scalp conditions should use appropriate medicated shampoo before they use a cap.
Are there any side effects associated with using the L3Tx?

No. L3TX homecare cap is based on LLLT which is proven for its safety, does not cause any heat, burning sensation / irritation on scalp.
Sometimes, skin may appear red immediately after treatment. Skin should return to normal within 1–2 hours.Temporary headache immediately following the light treatment can happen in some patients.
It can be treated with an appropriate painkiller and rehydration.
